1. Pet food is plant or animal material intended for consumption by dogs or other canines. In extruder, the ingredients are cooked under intense heat and pressure as it moves toward the open end of the extruder where ingredients pass through a shaping die and knife.

How is pet food made ?

• High quality ingredients  like meal, cereals, vegetable proteins and so on are selected and ground according to the specific nutritional and pellets size requirements 

• The pellet size distribution is a key factor for premium granulates production : therefore the grinding step is an important unit operation. The powder is then mixed with minor ingredients such as vitamins, mineral premixes… prior to the mixing system.

• Next, the heart of the process, extrusion cooking is done in two stages in the fish feed machine : extrusion cooking and die texturing/ shaping. Twin-screw extrusion-cooking uses its perfect mixing ability and parameters control such as shear, temperature, residence time to reach the highest physical and nutritional standards. Through direct steam injection, venting device and efficient barrel cooling, adjustable screw speed, screw configuration, shear and temperature conditions are perfectly controlled ; this leads to optimized functional and nutritional pellet properties such as the bulk density, calibration, cooking degree, best ratio proteins- lipids, etc

• Our factory offer its to heat sensitive feed, shrimp or micro feed requiring extreme drying accuracy while maintaining a very narrow moisture content distribution.

• Pellets can then be oil coated and possible additives and are cooled down to complete the fish feed processing.

Commissioning & After - sales service

1. We make accurate factory layout design according to customer’s factory size; if the customer needed, we could make workshop design with electricity power, water supply, gas power, material storage, final storages, worker’s restroom, etc.

2. 1-2 engineers will go to your factory to install and adjust the processing line to realize normal producing at shortest time.

3. Our engineers can train and teach the workers how to operate, clean, maintain and repair all the machines, until the workers could well operate the processing line.

4. It normally costs 10 days for the commissioning service, and we supply 1 year guarantee from the date of completion of commissioning service.

5. The engineer’s round-trip flight tickets, accommodation and daily salary are on client’s account.
